How to draft follow-up emails automatically when nobody replies (Lindy)
The problem
Emails that never get an answer are easy to forget, and remembering to nudge each one costs attention.
Tools needed
- Lindy
- Your email account (sent mail)
Step-by-step recipe
- Connect a Lindy flow to your sent mail.
- After each outgoing email, have it wait a set amount of time.
- Check the thread for a reply.
- If none arrived, draft a short follow-up.
- Deliver the draft to your inbox so you decide whether to send it.
Copyable prompt
Whenever I send an email, wait [3] business days. If the recipient has not replied in the same thread, draft a follow-up of at most 60 words that restates my original request in one line and makes it easy to answer yes or no. Do not send it. Save it as a draft and notify me. Skip threads where my message was a thank-you, an FYI, or contains "no reply needed".

What the builder reported
The user had started using it the day before and said it was working well so far. The thread gives no metrics or longer-term results.

Watch out for
- The follow-up was drafted for review, not sent automatically; keep that until you trust it.
- Exclude threads that don't need a follow-up (thank-yous, FYIs).
